We are looking for builders who are enthusiastic about data streaming and excited about contributing to open source.
Real-time data processing from a stream needs substantial investments from customers in writing the application and maintaining the necessary infrastructure. KDA service provides customers with fully managed stream processing platform leveraging Apache Flink framework where customers can develop their applications using SQL or Java. With the service all that customers need to do is provide the application code that needs to be run containing the business logic to process the stream and service takes care of providing building blocks/abstractions such as processing windows, execution semantics, checkpoints and infrastructure capabilities such as elasticity, fail-over, etc. eliminating complexity of stream processing.

Solution Engineer
Decodable is building the future of real time data integration and engineering!
Our mission is to make real time data engineering dead simple. With Decodable, application developers, data engineers, and data scientists can get data from a myriad of systems, process it with SQL, and get it to applications, databases, data lakes, and storage systems without needing a PhD in distributed systems.

About the role:
The Solutions Engineer will play a key role in serving data teams of all kinds. The ideal candidate needs to have experience selling complex SaaS into IT teams, especially earning the trust of engineers and helping them succeed.
What we are looking for:
- At least 4+ years as an SE selling to tech teams
- Experience with Kafka, Pulsar, Rabbit, Flink, or Kinesis
- Energy, curiosity, and initiative
- You want to go fast and be part of the story
- Your customers would love to buy from you again!
- A great list of startup-friendly contacts you can call on day 1
- An ownership mindset (you will own part of Decodable!)
- Experience selling to IC’s, executives, and everyone in between
- Experience at startups building toward $10M ARR
- History of success: crush your quota, build long term relationships, and drive customer projects to success and satisfaction
- Practiced and perfected both the art and science of sales:
- Being authentic while accomplishing objectives
- Customizing each customer experience to their needs
- Rigorous qualification and structure to sales cycles and PoVs
- “Not my job” isn’t part of your vocabulary
- Education in computer science or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience selling open source and SaaS
- Coding proficiency
- Multi-disciplinary: experience in product management, dev/rel, or professional services
- Blows through any obstacles to deliver an amazing customer experience

Senior Staff Engineer, Cloud
We are a team of doers, seasoned engineers, hackers and builders, working on the future of streaming data.
Funded by premier investors including GV and Lightspeed, Redpanda is building the streaming data platform for developers. We’re evolving streaming beyond the Apache Kafka® protocol into a unified “engine of record” that delivers a categorical reduction in complexity, wicked-fast performance, onboard Wasm transforms, and transparent tiered storage that gives consumers access to both real-time and historical data from a single API.
You Will:
- Provide technical leadership for a team of distributed cloud and Kubernetes engineers working on Redpanda Cloud:
- Work with the team to find consensus in a timely manner
- Proactively identifying and addressing issues
- Ensuring the team's work is built for the long term through best engineering practices
- Build Kubernetes-based infrastructure for our multi-cloud, managed streaming-as-a-service offering, by driving vision, participating in design, and contributing to implementation
- Collaborate with product managers and SREs to deliver solutions to challenging problems
- Work with engineering and cross functional partners to chart out a vision, strategy and a detailed roadmap to elevate our cloud offerings
- Be an example of the culture we strive for at Redpanda, focused on team execution and giving each other the benefit of the doubt
You Have:
- Ability to empathize with your fellow employees and customers
- A passion for working on deeply technical projects involving distributed systems, and event-based architecture
- Expert understanding of Kubernetes, public cloud technologies, Kafka, and Terraform
- Experience building SaaS infrastructure predictably through GitOps and Infrastructure as Code
- Comfortable working with a 100% distributed engineering team, collaborating on GitHub, in the open and a self starter
- Strong background in distributed system design and Golang
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Solutions Architect
Responsibilities:
- Lead POCs through requirement gathering and hands-on StarRocks implementation
- Ensure customers implement and use StarRocks according to best practices and unleash its full potential, both in pre and post-sale engagements.
- Become a StarRocks expert and work closely with Product and Engineering to turn customer challenges into features and solutions.
- Present StarRocks and benefits to prospective customers and partners
- Work closely with Sales to close deals
Requirements:
- 3+ years of technical customer-facing experience in data-related markets
- Technical breadth and depth in subjects such as StarRocks DBMS or similar, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems software engineering, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, System or Network Administration, and/or big data and analytics platforms
- Experience solving complex issues involving multiple systems and layers
- Proven experience driving critical production issues to resolution
- Ability to deliver complex topics in concise written communications
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience working with Cloud-based networking technologies (VMs, Load Balancers, Proxies, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with APIs or related technologies
